Shawna On Display for OKC Drivers

Drivers on I-240 near the intersection of I-35 in Oklahoma City are getting an eyeful of rising Oklahoma songstress Shawna Russell on their daily commute - and a message to call Country radio to request her current single, "Fire In The Desert."

The billboard, which went up last week, was purchased by Russell sponsor, Lance Faulkner, of the Little River Music Valley concert facility and Music 4 Life Recording Studio in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

Russell says the response to the sign has been really cool, "I'm getting calls from people saying 'Do you know you're on a billboard!' Not exactly the kind of calls you get everyday!"
